Tyre Tech (Pvt) Ltd started operations in November 2007. The company is being run by individuals who have vast experience with the motor industry and the general business environment. Operations started when the nation was facing serious financial problems and this had impact on business.

- To be the Tyre Supplier of choice in Zimbabwe and the whole of Southern Africa
- To provide high quality standards yet remaining profitable in both the short and long run.
- To create employment and promote indigenization at the highest possible levels.
We fall under the dealer title of the chain and hence our target market is the end user or the general public. As a result we secure our products directly from the manufacturer but however most operators are wholesalers. The tyre industry is generally considered as vital in Zimbabwe as it enhances transport- an important element in the modern world. Of late the industry has been regarded as one of the fastest growing but due to the fact of the large volumes of players entering it, the level of growth has now been limited as a result of the competitive forces. Dunlop Zimbabwe has been the sole manufacturer of tyres since independence and as such has only been limiting its sales mainly to distributors who have a dealership with them. However there has been a relaxation of this and Dunlop is now promising to relax the requirements for granting a dealership leaving us as Tyre Tech in a fortunate position.
